Sorry it's been a few days......I personally have struggled the last few days.
Alec has been doing awesome as usual! He has become this amazing man that I am so proud of. He was feeling so good last Friday that he decided to go out. He went to the Doctor with Brontay in Provo, then went to a movie, and then did a little shopping for the puppy! (His name is Ryder)
 It was all good until it wasn't......he was completely wiped out Saturday and Sunday. It just takes so much out of him to do that much, and he hasn't done that much in 6 weeks!!!
 Today he went to the dentist and got his teeth fixed, he's SO happy about that!
Then we went to Dr. Hawkins, (who is his primary care Doctor) all went well! Tomorrow we have another appointment with the orthopedic team just to check the incisions and make sure it all looks good after getting the stitches out. Tomorrow is also the Give Back Night at Chilis in Herriman for anyone that wants to come. They are donating 15% of anyone's total. That is SO awesome! We are again overwhelmed with gratitude!
I am doing better today, just so hard to handle, and hard to be the mom. I just want to fix it or wake up and have it not be true. It's so hard to realize that your son's life will never be the same, and there isn't one thing you can do about it! But I am extremely grateful there IS a life and for his amazing attitude! Rourke and Pam have been awesome, and have continued to help at every turn and I am beyond thankful for them! Thank you for the love, concern, and prayers.....please don't stop as we are adjusting to a new normal and have a VERY long road ahead to get him healthy again, and on the move!!
